Devil May Cry

Hello, since watching violent shows and playing video games with much blood and gore are my most favorite things to do. I am going to talk about my beloved anime show that made me love my hobbies even more. You want to know the name? Devil May Cry... If you want to know what this show is about, then I'll tell you. It's about a man named Dante who who sets out to kill dangerous demons to prevent the world from going through monstrous disasters. Having an evil twin brother, Vergil, his own ambition is to connect the human world to the demon world. That must be tiring! I don't what other people will think of it, but I know that those who love to battle and like gothic diplays of angelic and demonic mythology, then they will love it.

Having guns and a huge sword carried around all the time is awesome to do! I would really want to save the world using those even though it would seem like a pain. If my life were like this game, it would never end! Though there would be game overs... So I hope you enjoyed what you've read so far, because it took me a while to finish.

How the Economy & Power Rates Concern Me

Well, I want to tell you how it's getting on my nerves. The economy isn't really going great like it does in other places. I think the reason why the economy is down, is because the people here aren't spending more than they are saving. So it doesn't help the businesses that are trying to get enough money to keep on going. Many people are leaving the island because of this law that can't allow alien residents/workers to stay for long. There won't be much workers anymore, but what's the point? There aren't much jobs anyway for them to apply for. That's another good reason. I hope I can stay here but I want to move to the states, because it's a great place to be in and people used to call it, "The Land of Opportunity". Some day, I will accomplish things and try to make the economy better in this island.

But another thing that is chasing the people away and making are economy worse than it already is, is the power rates. I think the Commonwealth Utilities Corporation also known as CUC is monopolizing all the electricity here. They've been raising the bill prices and at the same time they're giving all these stupid power outages and it's giving me a migrain! Even when I'm playing a video game and I'm in the middle of the suspense part and the power goes out, or when I'm doing my homework and there's a surge, it always keeps me worried and I couldn't concentrate anymore on what I'm doing. If only I could do something about it. Which I can, since I am part of the new generation trying to clean up the mess the past made, I will finish my studies so that I will be able to create a new world. Okay, that is all.

Freshman Year Thoughts

The starting of my Freshman year went great! Everything was clean and sanitary. Looking at the technology no other high school had made me realize that Saipan Southern High School (SSHS) is advanced. Everything was easy to start with, the people are nice, and I believe the teachers are well experienced too. It makes me wonder about what would happen if I never went here. I guess, I'm just lucky! But you know, not everyone feels great going to a new school for the first time. I was also one of those people who were nervous too. I almost get heart attacks everytime teachers and students ask me to introduce myself. It's hard to talk about myself because they might think I am conceited or something like that. It's not that hard anymore because the other person you're speaking to is probably also feeling the same way too.

When I did that, I made many friends in just a couple of months. They are all really great and sometimes, I wish they didn't have to leave. You know what they say, people come and go. You can't have too many friends, but if you like them, don't think about them too much because it might interrupt your education. My friends are interesting because unlike other people, they are immature in a good way. At least they make my life worth living. Other people's friends, or so I've heard, are incredibly dull and boring, and I wouldn't want that! So you see what I mean? Hang out with the people you truly think are your friends. So don't mess up!

I think the Freshmen coming to SSHS next year are going to be troublemakers. Well, most of them are going to be. I think that because I have heard that even until now a lot of them are still fighting. It's awkward for me to say this but sometimes, I think that those students are too young to be at that certain grade. Even when I see them, they already have boyfriends or girlfriends and I think they are just wasting their time. But if they want to live like that and ruin their life, fine. But if they listen to the advice that elder people are trying to give them, then that would be okay for me. I also believe the Freshmen coming in next year would have perseverance in their studies. I hope that they don't make SSHS's reputation go bad too. So I hope that they get to enjoy a great life and not fall in chaos.

Fall of Rome

I find the fall of Rome interesting to me because I never figured that this supreme empire would come to their doom. It's impossible for me to believe it but I live in the modern world right now and I don't seem to find any living Romans with togas and aggressive attitude to fight. I was surprised to find out that Rome fell is Political Corruption, Inflation, and Unemployment. I thought that Rome was wealthy so nothing would corrupt their businesses, but I guess the selfish and greedy bribed so many of the workers and high professionals to do what they asked them to and cause certain laws to be rejected or passed. Another shock to me was Public Health and Urban Decay. I watched some videos of Rome and to think that it was neat and clean, but now I know that it was dirty and full of germs that started the spread of diseases. So, those are the things I found interesting on this certain question on my research.
